web designs

I think that more and more websites are turning into clones. Things that I have noticed is while everything is transforming faster and faster I'm seeing more and more websites trying to beta-fy themselves. In other words, instead of the plain Jane feel of websites back in the day now everything has it's own little box and therefore section of the page. One page contains a little bit of everything. In most cases you can also choose which boxes of information you want on your page (i.e. weather, sports, news, etc). Also websites seem to be doing more and more as well. For example take the Google search engine. Search engine can no longer be a correct term for Google since they do everything from searches to email to now even producing cell phones and other computer ware. Another trend that seems to be taking appeal is allowing people to organize the site the way they want it (as mentioned earlier) so that it makes everything much more simpler for them and they will continue to return for more. In other words, they're doing what they can to make things much much simpler.

So to recap:
1. Beta
2. More business variety
3. Much simpler and personal

Survey Results

I'm not surprised by any of the results. The only thing that I was not expecting was that for one of the essay/comment questions someone said that we didn't have any credits but we did in fact have credits so I'm not sure what that person is talking about. But other than that, the overall rating for the video was good.

Survey Results

I must say the results were pretty much half and half when it comes to whether or not they were surprising. I was surprised to see that 100% of the people who took the quiz stated that texting and driving was wrong. However, at least half of the students in here text and drive even if it's not something they do constantly. Statistically, at least half have texted while driving at some point. Also, the question about digital media versus reading and working was pretty much half and half which shows that everyone seems to have everything fairly balanced out.
